The Estadio Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos is not directly served by Lima's existing Metro Line 1 (Tren Urbano). The closest operational station, "Estación Miguel Grau," on Line 1, is approximately a 5.5-kilometre journey east and requires a subsequent bus transfer or taxi ride to reach the stadium. There are plans for a "Estación San Marcos" on the future Metro Line 2, which will significantly improve rail access, but this line is not yet fully operational.

The stadium is well-integrated into Lima's extensive public bus network. Key routes operate along Avenida Venezuela, which borders the university campus. Numerous local bus services and 'Corredor Rojo' (Red Corridor) routes offer connections from various parts of Lima. Specific bus stops are located directly outside the campus along Avenida Venezuela and Avenida Universitaria, providing convenient access.

Limited on-campus parking is available for university staff and students; however, for major events, this is typically restricted or quickly overwhelmed. Several private commercial parking lots (playas de estacionamiento) can be found within a 10-15 minute walk in the surrounding districts. Expect significant congestion and higher fees on event days. Advance booking is generally not an option, so early arrival is essential to secure a space. Street parking is often disorganised and not recommended.
