The nearest subway station is 68th Street – Hunter College (6 train), requiring approximately a 12-minute walk west along East 68th Street into Central Park, then south towards Rumsey Playfield. Alternatively, the 5th Avenue / 59th Street (N, Q, R, W trains) station is an approximate 15-minute walk north into the park.

Several bus routes serve the vicinity of Central Park Summerstage. The M1, M2, M3, M4 bus routes run north and south along 5th Avenue, with stops near East 69th Street, offering direct access into the park. The M10 bus route runs along Central Park West, with stops near West 69th Street. Cross-town routes like the M66 and M72 provide connections from the east and west sides of Manhattan.

Dedicated event parking is not available at the venue. Limited and expensive commercial parking garages can be found within a 10-minute radius outside the park, such as Icon Parking Systems on East 67th Street (between 5th and Madison Avenues) or other facilities on West 66th Street. Visitors are strongly advised to utilize public transit due to severe congestion and high parking fees, and to pre-book parking if it is absolutely necessary.
