Southampton Engine Rooms

The nearest mainline station is Southampton Central. From the station's south exit, it is an approximately 12-minute walk. Head southeast down Blechynden Terrace, then turn left onto West Quay Road; the venue will be on your right-hand side.

Numerous bus routes serve stops immediately adjacent to Westquay Shopping Centre, which lies directly inland from the venue. Key operators like Bluestar and Unilink offer frequent services throughout the city and surrounding areas. The National Express Coach Station, located on Harbour Parade, is an approximate 15-minute walk southeast along the waterfront from the Engine Rooms.

The closest and most extensive parking facility is the Westquay Multi-Storey Car Park (SO15 1QF), situated directly inland from the venue via a pedestrian crossing or underpass. It offers ample capacity but can be busy on event nights. Capital House Car Park (SO15 1BB) is another option, approximately an 8-minute walk to the northeast. Fees apply at both locations, and advance booking or checking tariffs is advisable, particularly during peak times or for longer stays.

The main entrance is situated directly on West Quay Road. Queue arrangements typically form along the pavement outside the venue. Standard bag search procedures are in place upon entry. It is generally recommended to arrive at least 30 minutes before the advertised door time for popular events to ensure efficient ingress, especially if aiming for a prime spot within the standing area.
