What is on the site, where it comes from, how it is written, and what to do when something is wrong.
Where listings come from
Event listings, dates, venues and prices are pulled from the StubHub International marketplace catalogue through the Impact partner feed. We import the catalogue every day, shortly after StubHub publishes it; each event page shows when its price was last checked.
- An event is listed when the catalogue has it on sale and we can match it to an artist and a venue.
- Duplicate listings for the same show are merged so one event page carries the cheapest price.
- When the marketplace withdraws an event, we stop listing it and remove it from our sitemap. Past events stay online as an archive, clearly marked as concluded.
- Show times are converted to the venue's local time zone; where the catalogue gives only a date, we say so rather than invent a time.

Prices and price history
The price shown is the cheapest listing on the marketplace at the last daily check, before StubHub's fees and delivery. We keep a history of those daily checks and show the trend on the event page when there is enough of it. We never round a price down, never show a price older than the "checked" time next to it, and mark a price as stale when the catalogue hasn't refreshed it.
How artist and venue guides are written
Artist, venue and event guides on NeedATicket.co.uk are written with AI assistance from live data. Concretely:
- The facts in a guide — upcoming dates, venues, cities, cheapest prices, door times, travel and parking details — come from our event database and are refreshed as it changes. They are not typed in by hand.
- The descriptive text is drafted by an AI model from those facts and a structured template, then run through automated checks for consistency with the data before it is published.
- Guides are not independent journalism or reviews. They are meant to be an accurate, useful summary of what is on sale and how to get there.
- We never generate quotes, reviews, ratings or setlists, and we don't claim to have attended a show.
Where a guide is thin because we have little data about an artist or venue, we prefer a short page to a padded one. Pages with no upcoming dates and no useful guide content are kept out of search indexes.
Price alerts
Price-alert emails are generated automatically from the same daily data: an email goes out only when the cheapest price for an event actually drops, meets a budget you set, or an artist you follow adds a date. They are double opt-in, limited to one email per alert per day, and every one has a one-click unsubscribe link.
Corrections
If a date, venue, price or guide is wrong, please tell us through the contact page, including the page address and what needs changing. Factual errors in our own text are corrected as soon as they are verified; catalogue errors (for example a wrong venue in the marketplace feed) are corrected on the next daily import once StubHub has fixed them, and we will note that on request.
