How the NeedATicket UK Resale Price Index is made

  • We record the cheapest listed price for each event on the StubHub International marketplace. We do not sell tickets.
  • Every figure is a median across events, so a handful of very expensive or very cheap events cannot move it far.
  • A change is measured against the price we held for the same event 7 or 30 days earlier. Events we were not yet tracking then are left out of that figure.
  • A move of more than four times up or down is treated as a data fault and left out.
  • Football matches whose tickets may not legally be resold are excluded.
  • Each figure is shown only when enough events stand behind it.
