Constructed in the late 1970s as an industrial warehouse facility, Tribeca Oviedo underwent significant architectural conversion in 2012, transforming into its current form. The design intentionally retains much of the original building's raw, functionalist aesthetic, characterized by prominent exposed concrete surfaces, robust steel girders, and an imposing, almost brutalist facade. The main hall offers a largely flat standing floor with a capacity of approximately 1,800, complemented by a single tiered balcony that accommodates an additional 300 seated patrons.
While the primary standing floor provides an unhindered view of the stage, some peripheral seating areas on the balcony may experience sightline obstructions due to structural support pillars that punctuate the space. Acoustically, the hall's hard, reflective concrete and metal surfaces inherently contribute to a notable degree of reverberation.
