Embrace

Embrace are an acclaimed English rock band formed in Bailiff Bridge, West Yorkshire in 1990. The band comprises brothers Danny McNamara (lead vocals) and Richard McNamara (lead guitar), alongside bassist Steve Firth, keyboardist Mickey Dale, and drummer Mike Heaton. Emerging at the height of the Britpop era and establishing themselves as leaders of the post-Britpop movement, Embrace scored an immediate commercial triumph with their 1998 debut album The Good Will Out, which debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and went platinum. Celebrated for their soaring melodic hooks and anthemic songcraft, the group has scored multiple UK top-ten singles including "All You Good Good People", "Come Back to What You Know", "My Weakness Is None of Your Business", and the celebrated hit "Gravity". Across a prolific career encompassing hit albums such as Drawn from Memory (2000), Out of Nothing (2004), and This New Day (2006), Embrace remain one of the United Kingdom's most enduring and electrifying live rock acts.
