Where is Stade de France?

Avenue Jules Rimet, Saint-Denis, 93200

Capacity 81,338.

How do I get to Stade de France?

By train

The closest station is La Plaine – Stade de France, on RER line B, a 10-minute walk from the Gate H side of the ground. RER B runs from Gare du Nord and Châtelet–Les Halles in central Paris and carries on north to Charles de Gaulle airport.

  • Stade de France – Saint-Denis: RER line D, on the far side of the ground and a 5-minute walk from Gate E. RER D also calls at Gare du Nord.
  • Saint-Denis – Porte de Paris: Métro line 13, shared with trams T1 and T8, about a 15-minute walk.
  • After the show: Both RER stations run extra trains and stewards hold the crowd at the entrances to spread the load, so the walk to the second station is often quicker than the wait at the first.

By bus

RATP runs the local buses. The stops on Avenue Jules Rimet and Avenue du Président Wilson are a few minutes from the gates.

  • 153: Porte de la Chapelle to Stains–Moulin Neuf
  • 170: Porte des Lilas to Saint-Denis RER
  • 239: Saint-Denis Résistance to Rosa Parks–Curial
  • 255: Porte de Clignancourt to Stains–Les Prévoyants
  • 353: Saint-Denis–Université to Saint-Denis ZAC Landy Nord
  • N44: the Noctilien night bus, Gare de l'Est to Garges-Sarcelles RER

Several of these are diverted while the stadium empties, so check the RATP app before you set out for the stop.

Where can I park?

The stadium sits inside the A1 and A86 interchange north of Paris, and its car parks are sold with the event rather than on arrival.

  • Official parking: The numbered car parks ring the ground and are pre-booked through the stadium's own site. They fill hours before a concert and empty slowly afterwards.
  • Crit'Air sticker: Greater Paris runs a vehicle-sticker scheme, and a car without the right sticker can be turned away on a restricted day.
  • Drop-off: Taxi and ride-hail pick-up is on Avenue du Président Wilson, away from the gates, and closes while the crowd leaves.

Accessibility at Stade de France

The Stade de France sells wheelchair spaces and companion places directly, so they never reach the resale market.

  • Wheelchair positions: Level platforms in the lower tier, reached by lift from the outer concourse ring.
  • Companion places: A companion place is issued with each wheelchair space.
  • Accessible parking: Blue-badge bays sit inside the stadium perimeter and are booked with the ticket.
  • Assistance dogs: Assistance dogs are admitted.

Contact the stadium's accessibility desk before you travel.
