Bus routes:24.
By bus
Reaching Circus Krone via bus is a straightforward and accessible option within Munich's efficient public transport network. Several key bus stops are situated within very close proximity to the venue. The most pertinent stops are often served by buses numbered 52 and 152, which provide excellent connectivity to various parts of the city. These routes link the venue to key neighbourhoods and transport interchanges, including routes that connect directly to the main train station (Hauptbahnhof) and other important hubs like Sendlinger Tor. While there may not be dedicated 24-hour bus routes directly servicing Circus Krone every night, Munich's extensive night bus network (N-lines) operates from the city centre and major stations, offering late-night travel options. From the city centre, journey times by bus are typically short, ranging from 10 to 20 minutes depending on traffic conditions and your starting point. For detailed route planning and real-time information, it is advisable to consult the website of the local transport operator, MVG (Münchner Verkehrsgesellschaft).
Accessibility
Circus Krone is committed to providing an accessible experience for all its patrons. The venue is generally wheelchair accessible, with ramps and accessible entrances provided for easier entry. Within the main performance hall, designated wheelchair seating areas are available, offering good sightlines. Accessible toilets are located throughout the venue to cater to visitors with disabilities. While specific details regarding induction loop or hearing assistance systems should be confirmed directly with the venue for each event, many larger venues in Germany are equipped with such facilities. Where can I park at Circus Krone?
For those travelling to Circus Krone by car, navigating Munich requires some planning, particularly regarding parking. The venue is centrally located, meaning direct driving can be subject to city traffic. If using a GPS system, inputting the nearby Postcode for Circus Krone is recommended. While an exact postcode for the venue itself is not always provided, the general area around Marsstraße or itself will guide you. Several parking options are available. Street parking in the immediate vicinity can be limited and is often metered. More reliable options include multi-storey car parks or underground garages. One such option is the car park at Hauptbahnhof, which is a short walk away. Estimated parking costs can vary significantly, typically ranging from €2-€4 per hour for public car parks, with daily rates potentially reaching €20-€30. Park and ride facilities are available on the outskirts of Munich, connected by the S-Bahn, which is often a more cost-effective and less stressful option than driving into the city centre. For disabled drivers, accessible parking bays are usually available in the larger public car parks, and drop-off zones can be found on the streets closest to the venue entrance.
