UK ticket price moves: Stevie Wonder falls, Culture Club climbs
By NeedATicket · Published
Stevie Wonder's cheapest O2 ticket more than halved in a week, while Culture Club and Jungle went the other way. What our hourly checks saw.
What we saw
Stevie Wonder at The O2 on 5 November had a cheapest listed ticket of £402.54 on 20 October. It reached £460.41 on 23 October, then fell the same day. By 25 October it was £164.30, and it touched £152.90 on 28 October. On the evening of 29 October it was £175.
His Co-op Live date in Manchester on 8 November moved the same way: £286.59 on 22 October, £176.55 the next day, and £152.99 on 26 October.
Culture Club at The O2 on 19 December went the other way. The cheapest ticket was £92.32 on the afternoon of 26 October and £270 that evening.
Jungle at First Direct Arena in Leeds on 21 November rose from £57.31 on 24 October to £100 on 27 October.
What it means for tickets
The cheapest price is one listing. When it sells or is taken down, the next cheapest becomes the price, so the figure can jump in an hour without the market changing much. Several drops in a row, as with both Stevie Wonder dates, usually mean sellers are pricing lower.
All of these are listing prices. StubHub adds its booking fees at checkout. The rows below show what StubHub lists for each date now, which may differ from the figures above.
What to do now
Each event page shows the 30-day price line, so you can see whether today is high or low for that show. If you are waiting for a lower price, set an alert and we will email you when the cheapest ticket falls.
