Opened in 2022, Arena GNP Seguros is a purpose-built, multi-functional arena situated within the extensive Princess Mundo Imperial resort complex in Acapulco. Its architecture is distinctly modern, characterized by a substantial concrete and steel framework designed for large-scale events. The hall boasts a flexible capacity, accommodating up to 18,000 attendees for major concerts and 10,000 for sporting events like tennis tournaments.
The interior layout features a primary, adaptable floor space capable of hosting a standing audience or temporary seating arrangements, encircled by multiple fixed tiers of spectator seating. Upper-tier sections offer broad, elevated perspectives of the stage or playing field, while the lower bowl provides more immediate proximity to the action. Given its expansive volume and the prevalence of hard, reflective surfaces inherent to modern arena construction, the space's inherent acoustics are capacious and tend towards reverberation.
