Auditorio AREMA, constructed in 1997, embodies a late-20th-century functionalist aesthetic, characterised by its imposing concrete and steel façade. Originally conceived as a multi-purpose municipal hall, its design prioritised capacity and adaptability over ornamental flourish. The venue’s primary configuration features a large, flat standing floor directly in front of the stage, capable of accommodating approximately 2,000 attendees for general admission events. Above this, a single, gently raked tiered balcony wraps around the sides and rear, providing seated views for an additional 800 patrons.

Sightlines from the main standing area are largely unimpeded, offering direct views of the stage. On the balcony, central seats provide excellent perspectives, while those further to the sides can experience minor obstructions from safety barriers or speaker arrays, particularly for intricate stage designs.
