Opened in 1978, Boettcher Concert Hall stands as a distinctive example of modernist architecture, notable for being the United States' first symphony hall built "in-the-round." Designed by Hardy Holzman Pfeiffer Associates, its circular auditorium places the central stage amidst a fully tiered arrangement of approximately 2,700 seats, ensuring no audience member is more than 85 feet from the performers.
