The nearest mainline station is Bochum Hauptbahnhof. From there, it is approximately a 12-minute walk west-northwest. Exit the station onto Südring and proceed west, then turn right onto Westring. Christuskirche will be on your left.

Christuskirche is accessible by car, though navigating within Bochum city centre can require attention to local traffic patterns. If approaching from the M1 motorway, exit at Junction 12 (for Bochum-Laer) or Junction 11 (for Bochum-Hasenwinkel) and follow signs towards the city centre. A useful postcode for satellite navigation, which will direct you to the general vicinity, is 44787. Parking options near Christuskirche are primarily metered street parking and several multi-storey car parks located within a short walking distance. Notable car parks include the Parkhaus P5 at Kurt-Schumacher-Platz or the Tiefgarage (underground parking) at the City Point Bochum. Estimated parking costs typically range from €1.50 to €3.00 per hour, with daily rates available. There are no dedicated park and ride facilities directly adjacent to the venue, but central park and ride locations within Bochum might be an option. Accessibility for disabled drivers is generally accommodated in designated parking bays within the nearby car parks.

Christuskirche aims to be accessible to all visitors, though as a historic building, some considerations apply. The main entrances are generally accessible, and while specific details regarding ramps or level access for wheelchairs should be confirmed directly with the venue, efforts are usually made to accommodate visitors. Information regarding the availability of lifts to access different levels, if applicable, and specific wheelchair-accessible seating areas within the performance space should be sought in advance. Accessible toilet facilities are typically provided. For individuals with hearing impairments, inquiry should be made about the presence and operation of any hearing loop or induction loop systems, which are increasingly common in performance venues. Assistance dogs and service animals are generally permitted, but it is advisable to notify the venue beforehand. Limited accessible parking may be available nearby, and staff assistance is usually on hand to help visitors with specific needs upon arrival.

The primary entrance is located on Westring. Queue arrangements vary by event but are typically orderly. Standard bag search policies may be in effect for larger public events. It is recommended to arrive 15-20 minutes prior to door opening for popular, unreserved events, or 10 minutes before the scheduled start time for seated, reserved performances.
