Greek Theatre Los Angeles

The nearest Metro B Line (Red Line) subway stations are Vermont/Sunset and Hollywood/Western. From the Vermont/Sunset station, the venue is approximately a 1.7-mile, often strenuous, uphill walk along Vermont Canyon Road, which typically takes 35-40 minutes. Due to the significant elevation gain, patrons often opt for a ride-share service or connect with event-specific shuttles from these general areas rather than walking the entire distance.

Several Metro Local bus routes serve the general area, including Line 180/182 along Vermont Avenue and Line 202 along Los Feliz Boulevard. These routes offer connections to other parts of Los Angeles but require a subsequent ride-share or a substantial uphill walk to reach the theatre entrance. Dedicated event shuttle services are frequently operated from specified parking lots (such as the Los Angeles Zoo parking lot) on show nights, providing the most direct public transit connection to the venue.

On-site parking is available directly at the Greek Theatre, though spaces are limited, often require advance booking, and can be subject to significant congestion both pre- and post-event. Fees are typically dynamic and vary by event. A common alternative is to park at the large lot at the Los Angeles Zoo (4730 Crystal Springs Dr), approximately a 12-minute drive east, where a dedicated shuttle service often operates to transport patrons directly to the venue entrance. Costs for the Zoo parking are typically lower than on-site Greek Theatre parking, and the shuttle helps mitigate congestion.

The main entrance is located at the top of the venue's access road, leading into the forecourt. Security protocols include bag checks and metal detector screening. For optimal experience and to avoid queues, it is recommended to arrive 60-90 minutes prior to the advertised show start time, particularly for popular events.
