Herkulessaal

The nearest major interchange is München Hauptbahnhof (Hbf). From there, take the U-Bahn (U3 or U6 line) two stops north to Odeonsplatz. The walk from the Odeonsplatz U-Bahn exit south across Hofgartenstraße and into the Residenz grounds to Herkulessaal is approximately 3-4 minutes. Alternatively, take any S-Bahn or U-Bahn to Marienplatz, followed by a 6-7 minute walk north along Dienerstraße and Residenzstraße to the venue entrance.

Driving to the Herkulessaal in München requires navigating the city's efficient, yet often busy, road network. The venue is centrally located within the city, near the Hofgarten and Residenz. For GPS navigation, use the postcode 80539 München. Access is typically via the Mittlerer Ring (B2R) and then following signs towards the city centre (Zentrum/Altstadt). Parking is a key consideration; the most convenient option is usually the underground car park at the Residenz or the Marstallplatz. Street parking in the immediate vicinity is scarce and often restricted. Estimated parking costs can range from €3-€6 per hour, with daily or event rates potentially applying, so it's advisable to check specific car park tariffs. There are no direct park-and-ride facilities at the venue itself, but utilizing S-Bahn or U-Bahn to a central station and then walking or taking a short bus ride is a common alternative. Accessible parking bays are available within the main car parks, often closer to the entrances.

The Herkulessaal is committed to ensuring a welcoming and accessible experience for all its patrons. Wheelchair accessibility is provided to main entrances and performance areas, with lifts available to access different levels of the building. Accessible seating areas are designated within the auditorium, offering excellent views of the stage. Accessible toilets are available on various floors, equipped to accommodate visitors with disabilities. While specific information on hearing loop or induction loop systems should be confirmed directly with the venue for upcoming events, many modern concert halls offer these facilities. Assistance animals are generally permitted within the venue, though it's recommended to inform the venue in advance. Companion care facilities may be available upon request. Accessible parking spaces are located in nearby car parks, with clear signage and proximity to the venue's main entrances. Staff are usually available to offer assistance and guidance throughout your visit.

The primary entrance for Herkulessaal events is typically via the main Residenz complex on Residenzstraße. Expect standard security checks, including bag searches, upon entry. Arriving 20-30 minutes prior to the advertised start time is recommended to allow for ticket scanning, security procedures, and finding your seat without rush.
