Hersheypark Stadium

The nearest mainline rail service is available at Harrisburg Transportation Center (HAR), approximately 15 miles west of the venue. This distance makes walking impractical; onward travel typically requires a local bus service (Capital Area Transit) or rideshare/taxi, which generally takes 20-30 minutes.

Capital Area Transit (CAT) provides local bus services connecting the greater Harrisburg area to Hershey. The primary route serving the Hershey complex often utilizes Route 322 (Chocolate Avenue). Patrons should verify specific bus stops for stadium access with CAT schedules on event days, as routes may connect to the Hersheypark Transit Center, potentially requiring a short walk or resort shuttle to the stadium.

Ample paid parking is available in the extensive Hersheypark parking lots surrounding the stadium. Specific sections are designated for events, and fees are collected upon entry or can be pre-purchased online for major performances. Expect significant congestion immediately before and after large events. Advance booking is advisable to secure parking and streamline arrival.

Hersheypark Stadium is committed to ensuring a positive and accessible experience for all its visitors. The venue provides step-free access to all main public areas, including entrances, concourses, and the majority of seating areas, via ramps and accessible lifts. A dedicated number of wheelchair-accessible viewing platforms are available, offering excellent sightlines. Accessible toilet facilities are strategically located throughout the stadium, equipped with ample space and support rails. For those with hearing impairments, a hearing loop system is operational in guest services areas and for specific event announcements; checking with venue staff upon arrival is recommended. Assistance dogs and registered service animals are welcome within the stadium, with designated relief areas available. Accessible parking spaces are located in close proximity to the main entrances, and staff are readily available to provide assistance with mobility, guidance, and general support upon request.

Access to the stadium is via multiple gates positioned along its perimeter. Standard stadium security procedures, including bag checks and metal detection, are strictly enforced. Patrons should consult their event tickets for specific gate assignments and plan to arrive at least 60-90 minutes prior to the scheduled start time to allow sufficient time for security screening and navigating the complex.
