About Im Wizemann (Club): Layout, History & Architecture

Im Wizemann opened its doors in 2015, transforming a former industrial site on Quellenstraße in Stuttgart into a dynamic multi-venue complex. The architecture embraces its utilitarian past, showcasing a modern industrial aesthetic defined by exposed concrete, steel elements, and original brickwork. The complex houses three distinct performance spaces: the main "Halle" with a capacity of approximately 1,300 standing patrons, the "Studio" accommodating around 500, and the more intimate "Club" room for roughly 250 guests.

For the Halle, the primary performance space, the layout is a large, unobstructed flat standing floor with an elevated stage at the front. This configuration generally allows for clear sightlines towards the stage, though views can become partially obscured in densely packed areas further from the stage. There are no tiered balconies or fixed seating in the main standing area. Acoustically, the hall's industrial construction, with its hard surfaces, means sound largely relies on the meticulously installed modern PA system to deliver clarity and impact. The space is well-equipped for amplified music, but the raw architecture dictates that the sound profile is direct and robust rather than subtly nuanced.

The Live Experience & Current Schedule

Entering Im Wizemann via the main Quellenstraße entrance, guests typically encounter a streamlined ingress process leading into a functional foyer area equipped with several bars, minimizing queues for refreshments. The standing pit in the main Halle can become quite dense and energetic, offering an immersive, close-proximity experience to the stage. For those seeking a slightly less intense position, the perimeter often provides a bit more space, albeit with potentially more distant views.

With 3 live performances scheduled, upcoming entry prices start from £68.12. The next confirmed event on the calendar is The New Roses on 6th November 2026.
