Jardines de México, an expansive outdoor event complex situated in Nezahualcóyotl, was established in 2008 as a contemporary landscape project dedicated to large-scale public gatherings and performances. The architectural philosophy prioritizes integration with the natural environment, utilizing a blend of robust, locally sourced stone, engineered timber structures, and polished concrete pathways that meander through meticulously cultivated garden sections. The primary performance area comprises a vast, gently sloped lawn, designed for standing audiences, with an integrated, semi-permanent stage structure engineered for significant live productions.

The capacity of the main arena can comfortably accommodate several thousand patrons, offering a largely unobstructed vista of the stage for those within the central viewing zone. Peripheral areas and elevated VIP platforms, crafted from modular decking, provide alternative sightlines, though distant views from the rear of the lawn will often necessitate reliance on large format LED screens flanking the stage. Acoustically, the inherent challenges of an open-air venue are addressed through a sophisticated, distributed line array sound system. The general atmosphere is that of a large-scale festival, with the primary experience being a standing one on the central lawn, conducive to fluid movement and communal engagement.
