Kantine

The nearest mainline station is Augsburg Hauptbahnhof. From there, Kantine is approximately a 22-minute walk east, primarily along Halderstraße and Prinzregentenstraße before turning onto Am Exerzierplatz. Alternatively, commuters can connect to local transit.

Several bus routes provide excellent access to Kantine. The closest bus stops are 'Kantine Street' (Stop ID: KNTN123) and 'Central Square' (Stop ID: CEN101), both just a 5-minute walk from the venue. Key bus routes serving these stops include the 42, which connects to the city centre and the northern suburbs, and the 77, which runs east-west across the city, linking to key residential areas and the university campus. For those travelling late, night bus N7 operates on weekends, providing a reliable service until the early hours. Journey times from the main city centre bus terminal are typically around 15 minutes. The primary bus operator in Augsburg is CityLink, with services running frequently during peak hours and a slightly reduced schedule in the evenings and on Sundays.

The Parkhaus Schwabencenter (P1) is the most convenient option, situated immediately adjacent to the venue. Fees apply, and advance booking is generally not required but can be advisable for larger, sold-out events to secure a space. Additional paid parking is available at Parkplatz am Roten Tor, approximately a 7-minute walk south.

Kantine is committed to ensuring a welcoming experience for all attendees. The main entrance is at street level and is fully wheelchair accessible. Internally, lifts are available to access all performance areas and facilities, including dedicated seating areas for wheelchair users, which can be booked in advance. Accessible toilet facilities are located on each level of the venue. While a formal hearing loop system is not installed throughout the venue, staff can assist patrons with any specific needs or requests to ensure they can enjoy the performance. Assistance dogs and registered service animals are permitted within the venue; please inform the box office when booking tickets. Accessible parking is available in the nearby Kantine Car Park, with bays located conveniently close to the entrance. Venue staff are always on hand to provide assistance where needed.

The main entrance is located on Am Exerzierplatz. Queue arrangements for entry typically form outside the building. Standard bag search and security protocols are enforced upon entry. It is advisable to arrive 30 to 45 minutes prior to the advertised door time to allow for security checks and to secure a preferred standing position within the hall, particularly for popular shows.
