Its architectural style is a pragmatic interpretation of mid-century civic design, characterized by a robust, unadorned concrete and brick facade, with large fenestration on the upper levels now largely obscured or soundproofed. The interior features a principal performance area designed for a standing capacity of approximately 600, with a fixed, raised stage at one end. A shallow, tiered balcony, capable of seating around 250 patrons, extends along the rear of the hall, offering elevated views.
Sightlines from the main floor are generally unobstructed directly to the stage, though the flat standing configuration means visibility can diminish towards the back during peak capacity events. The balcony provides clear, albeit more distant, perspectives. The primary space, a large rectangular hall, features high ceilings characteristic of mid-century civic architecture.
