Situated just off the Autovía del Norte (A-1) at Exit 67 in Venturada, LAB operates as a substantial, purpose-built events complex designed for large-scale gatherings, predominantly electronic music and live performances. Constructed in the modern era, the facility features a robust, functional aesthetic defined by its large-span steel framework and concrete elements, allowing for expansive, column-free internal spaces. The primary performance area is a vast, flat standing floor, capable of accommodating several thousand attendees, typically configured for capacities ranging from 3,000 to over 5,000 depending on the event and internal partitions. This main hall benefits from significant ceiling height, often integrated with complex lighting rigs and production infrastructure.

Architecturally, the hall prioritises flexibility and sheer volume over intricate design details, presenting a clean, industrial-inspired canvas for various event productions. Ancillary spaces include multiple dedicated bar zones, restroom facilities, and occasionally elevated VIP platforms or partitioned areas along the perimeter. Sightlines across the main floor are generally unobstructed due to the open plan, though extreme crowd density during peak attendance can naturally impede views for those further back. Acoustically, the inherent challenge of such a vast, hard-surfaced volume means the sound profile is heavily dependent on the professional-grade PA system deployed for each specific event; without precise calibration, the natural reverberation of the space can become pronounced.

Once inside, attendees find themselves in a spacious environment where circulation to the numerous utilitarian bars and amenities is straightforward. The experience on the main floor is defined by high energy and a dense standing crowd, particularly for headlining electronic music acts, with the stage commanding the focus of the vast space. The venue’s scale dictates that proximity to the performers is reserved for those who arrive early and position themselves strategically at the front of the pit.
