Memorial Auditorium (Sacramento)

The nearest mainline rail station is Sacramento Valley Station (401 I Street), served by Amtrak. From the station, the auditorium is approximately a 1.2-mile walk southeast. Head southeast on I Street for roughly 15 minutes, then turn left onto 15th Street.

Numerous Sacramento Regional Transit (SacRT) bus routes serve the downtown area around the auditorium. Key stops are located on 15th Street, J Street, and K Street, offering connections across the city. Routes 30, 38, 51, and 62 are among those that pass within a short walking distance.

Several parking garages are available within a 10-minute radius. Notable options include the Memorial Garage (1400 H Street), Capitol Mall Garage (1000 L Street), and City Hall Garage (927 I Street). Fees apply, and congestion can be significant during major events, so advance booking through third-party apps is often recommended to secure a spot. Metered street parking is also available, but often limited.

The primary entrance is located on 15th Street. Queueing typically forms along the sidewalk, extending south from the main doors. Standard bag search policies are in effect, and a clear bag policy may apply for certain events – check the specific event guidelines. Arriving 30-45 minutes before the advertised door time is advisable to navigate security and find your desired spot, especially for general admission events.
