Progressive Field

The nearest major transit hub is Tower City Center, served by Cleveland RTA's Red, Blue, and Green lines (heavy and light rail). The stadium is an approximate 8-minute walk southeast from Tower City Center. Exit the station onto Huron Road East, proceed east for three blocks, then turn south onto Ontario Street, with the ballpark entrance visible on your left.

Numerous Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) bus routes serve downtown Cleveland with stops within a few blocks of Progressive Field. Key routes run along Ontario Street, Prospect Avenue, and Carnegie Avenue, offering connections from various parts of the city. The HealthLine Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) also has stops within a 10-minute walk south down Euclid Avenue.

A range of paid parking options exists within a 10-minute radius. The Gateway East Garage, directly adjacent to the stadium (shared with Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse), offers covered parking but fills quickly and can experience significant post-event congestion. Other notable options include the Progressive Field Parking Garage on Eagle Avenue and several surface lots along Ontario Street, Prospect Avenue, and Carnegie Avenue. Fees are elevated on event days, and advanced booking via third-party parking apps or the stadium's official parking portal is highly advisable to secure a space and potentially mitigate entry delays.

Entry gates are located strategically around the stadium perimeter, including Gate A on Carnegie Avenue, and Gates B and C on Ontario Street. Bag search policies are strict, typically allowing only clear bags of specific dimensions; opaque bags or backpacks are generally prohibited. It is recommended to arrive at least 45 minutes to an hour before the scheduled start time of any event to allow sufficient time for security checks and navigation to seating areas, particularly for high-attendance games or concerts.
