The Sphere, inaugurated in September 2023, stands as a distinct example of neo-futurist architecture, defined by its massive spherical form and the captivating Exosphere, a 580,000 square foot LED exterior display. Located just east of the Las Vegas Strip, the structure boasts a seated capacity of approximately 18,600, with additional standing room pushing the total to around 20,000. Inside, the auditorium presents an entirely tiered seating arrangement, designed to offer expansive, unobstructed sightlines towards the main stage and the immersive 16K resolution wrap-around LED interior screen, which spans 160,000 square feet. There are no traditional balcony levels; rather, all seating is arranged in a steeply raked amphitheater style across four main tiers, ensuring a comprehensive view of the visual spectacle.

Acoustically, the hall is engineered with a sophisticated Holoplot X1 sound system comprising around 1,600 permanently installed speakers and 300 movable modules, alongside beamforming and wave field synthesis technologies. This system aims to deliver highly directed, localized audio, allowing for precise soundscapes that can vary by seating section and even project distinct sounds to individual seats, minimizing traditional echo or cavernous reflections often associated with large venues. The design prioritizes an integrated sensory experience, where sound and visuals are meticulously synchronized to create a unique atmospheric envelope.

The building's innovative design extends beyond its performance space, incorporating advanced haptic seating in selected areas to further enhance the immersive experience through vibrational feedback. The grand scale and specific technological integration define the space's architectural and acoustic profile, setting it apart from conventional concert halls.

Entering the venue typically involves navigating expansive, well-lit concourses, with many patrons utilizing the dedicated pedestrian bridge connecting directly from The Venetian Resort's third floor, offering a sheltered and convenient approach. Once inside, multiple foyer bars are distributed across the various seating levels, providing refreshments in a modern, spacious setting designed to handle large crowds efficiently. As an all-seated venue, the experience focuses on individual comfort and the shared visual and auditory immersion. The tiered layout ensures that even those in higher sections benefit from clear views of both the stage and the colossal interior LED screen, which often forms a significant part of the performance's aesthetic.
