The nearest mainline station is Sevilla-Santa Justa. From Santa Justa, the Teatro Central is not directly accessible by foot for most; it involves a substantial 3.5-kilometre walk across the Guadalquivir River. It is more practical to connect via local bus services, which provide a direct link to the Isla de la Cartuja.

Several TUSSAM bus routes serve the Isla de la Cartuja. Lines C1 and C2 (circular routes) are particularly useful, with stops such as "Américo Vespucio (Teatro Central)" or "Juan Bautista Muñoz (Teatro Central)" directly adjacent to the venue. Expect a 2 to 4-minute walk from these stops to the main entrance. Other lines, such as the 2, 3, and 6, stop near the Puente de la Barqueta, requiring an approximate 12-minute walk across the bridge and into the Isla de la Cartuja to reach the theatre.

Limited street parking is available on the Isla de la Cartuja, particularly along streets like Leonardo da Vinci and Américo Vespucio, though spaces can be competitive during peak event times. For guaranteed parking, the underground "Parking Torre Sevilla" offers secure facilities, located approximately a 15-minute walk south of the venue. Advance booking is advisable for major events, and fees apply.

The main entrance is situated on Calle José de Gálvez. Queues typically form outside this entrance, which opens approximately 30 minutes before the scheduled start time for most performances. Standard security procedures, including bag checks, are in effect. Patrons are advised to arrive at least 20-25 minutes prior to showtime to allow for ticket scanning, security checks, and finding seats without rushing.
