Tusindårsskoven, or the Millennium Forest, is not a singular building but an expansive outdoor event area established around the turn of the millennium along the southern bank of Odense Å (Odense River). Primarily designed to host large-scale concerts, festivals, and public gatherings, the space leverages its natural parkland setting. Event configurations typically involve a large main stage erected on a flat, open field, with numerous temporary structures for concessions and amenities fanning out across the grounds. Capacities can reach tens of thousands, making it one of Denmark's significant open-air venues.

The sprawling, generally flat terrain offers unobstructed views towards the main stage for those positioned closer, though sightlines can become challenging further back in dense crowds.
