Westgate Hall

Canterbury West and Canterbury East stations are the two main railway hubs. Both are approximately a 10-15 minute walk from Westgate Hall. Frequent services run to and from London St Pancras International and Charing Cross, as well as other regional destinations.

Numerous bus routes serve the city centre, with stops located a short walk from the venue. Check local bus timetables for routes and times relevant to your starting point. The main bus station is also within easy reach.

Parking can be limited in the immediate vicinity of Westgate Hall. However, several multi-storey car parks are available within a short walking distance:

• Whitefriars Shopping Centre Car Park: (ME14 1NX) – Approximately a 5-10 minute walk.
• St Radigund's Car Park: (CT1 2HY) – Approximately a 5-10 minute walk.
• Queningate Car Park: (CT1 2HR) – Approximately a 10-15 minute walk.

Westgate Hall is committed to ensuring an accessible experience for all patrons.

• Entrance: The main entrance is at ground level and is accessible.
• Main Hall: The main performance space is generally level and accessible.
• Toilets: Accessible toilet facilities are available within the venue.
• Assistance: For specific accessibility requirements or if you require assistance during your visit, please contact the venue in advance. They are usually very accommodating and will do their best to make arrangements.

The primary entrance is located directly on St Peter's Street, positioned just beyond the Westgate Towers. Queue arrangements are managed along the pavement. Standard security measures, including bag checks, are routinely implemented. Guests are advised to arrive 30-45 minutes before the published door time to allow for sufficient time to clear entry procedures, especially for well-attended events.
