Chase Center, which opened its doors in September 2019, stands as a prominent contemporary multi-purpose arena in San Francisco's Mission Bay district. Designed by MANICA Architecture, the facility embodies a sleek, utilitarian aesthetic, characterized by expansive glass and robust concrete elements fitting for a modern civic structure. With a primary capacity of approximately 18,064 for basketball, the space is highly adaptable, reconfiguring to accommodate up to 19,500 attendees for concerts and other live events.

The arena's internal layout features a multi-level bowl design, incorporating a retractable lower seating section, various club levels, and numerous luxury suites. For musical performances, the stage is typically positioned at one end, transforming the lower bowl into a standing floor for direct stage proximity or into additional seated tiers. Sightlines throughout the auditorium are generally clear, engineered to provide unobstructed views for sports events. While upper-tier seats for concerts may offer a distant perspective, they are typically free from physical obstructions inherent in older, multi-pillared venues.

Acoustically, Chase Center, like many large, modern arenas built primarily for sports, relies heavily on a sophisticated installed sound reinforcement system.
