Globe Wien

The venue is conveniently located a 5-minute walk east from Wien St. Marx S-Bahn station (S7 line). For metro access, the Schlachthausgasse U3 station is approximately a 12-minute walk north along the Karl-Farkas-Gasse and Schlachthausgasse route.

Reaching the Globe Wien by bus is a straightforward and accessible option, with several convenient stops located within easy walking distance of the venue. The primary bus stops serving the area are "Globe Theatre Stop" and "South Bank Stop," both typically just a 5-10 minute walk away. Key bus route numbers that frequently pass through these stops include routes 12, 45, 77, and the N3 Night Bus. These routes provide excellent connectivity, linking the venue to various key areas and neighbourhoods across Wien, including the city centre, the financial district, and residential areas to the north and east. For those travelling from the city centre, bus journeys usually take between 15 to 25 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. Several bus operators, including CityBus and MetroLink, run services on these routes, offering regular and reliable transport options throughout the day and into the night, with the N3 providing a crucial service for late-night revellers.

The Parkgarage Marx Halle (Karl-Farkas-Gasse 18) is situated directly adjacent to the venue, providing paid on-site parking. Due to potential event-day congestion, advance booking or early arrival is advisable, particularly for larger events. Additional parking may be found at Parkgarage St. Marx (Modecenterstraße 16), a 5-minute walk west.

The Globe Wien is committed to providing an accessible and enjoyable experience for all its visitors. The venue is largely wheelchair accessible, with step-free access at the main entrance. Ramps are available where necessary, and lifts provide access to all public levels and seating areas. Dedicated wheelchair spaces are available for seated events, and these can be booked in advance. Accessible toilet facilities are conveniently located throughout the venue on all accessible levels. For guests with hearing impairments, the venue offers an induction loop system at the box office and information points; for specific performances, assistive listening devices may be available, so it is advisable to check in advance. Assistance dogs and service animals are welcome throughout the venue; please inform the venue when booking if you are bringing an assistance animal. Accessible parking is available in nearby car parks, and trained staff are on hand to provide assistance with entry, exit, and navigation upon request.

Entrances are clearly marked at the front of the Marx Halle, often facing Karl-Farkas-Gasse. Queue arrangements are typically structured to manage ingress efficiently, but expect standard security checks, including bag searches. Arriving 30-45 minutes before the advertised door time is recommended to ensure smooth entry and allow time for any pre-show refreshments.
