Opened in 2019, the Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre is a purpose-built, modular structure designed for large-scale immersive productions and events. Its architectural style is utilitarian and industrial, prioritising adaptability over traditional theatrical grandeur. This robust, temporary structure, erected on Meridian Quays, can be reconfigured to suit the demands of each show, offering capacities that typically range from 1,000 to over 2,000 patrons, incorporating various arrangements such as flat standing floors, tiered seating, or a combination for dynamic, walkthrough experiences.
The interior of the hall is a vast, open space, deliberately unadorned to serve as a blank canvas for sophisticated set designs.
