The nearest mainline station is Amsterdam Centraal. From there, direct rail connections are unavailable. Visitors must proceed to the GVB ferry terminal situated on the rear, inland side of Centraal Station. Take the GVB Ferry F4 (NDSM-werf) across the IJ river. The ferry journey typically takes 14 minutes. Upon disembarking at the NDSM-werf ferry terminal, the primary event spaces like the Scheepsbouwloods are approximately a 5-minute walk inland, following the main pathways directly from the terminal.

Several GVB bus routes serve the NDSM Wharf area, connecting it with other parts of Amsterdam-Noord. Routes such as 35 and 36 stop at "NDSM-werf (veer)" or "Klaprozenweg," which are located inland, a short walk from the main event buildings. These connections provide onward travel to more distant areas of Amsterdam-Noord, offering an alternative to the ferry for those already on the north bank of the IJ.

On-site parking is available, primarily at the Q-Park NDSM parking garage, located centrally within the NDSM Wharf grounds, approximately a 7-minute walk inland from the main event spaces. Tariffs apply and vary; pre-booking via the Q-Park website is highly recommended, particularly for major events, to avoid congestion and ensure availability. Additional paid street parking may be available further inland along Papaverweg, though spaces can be scarce.

Entry points are event-specific but generally located on the inland facades of the main buildings, facing away from the IJ river. Queue arrangements are typically outdoor. Expect mandatory bag checks and security screenings upon arrival. To ensure a smooth entry and avoid last-minute rushes, it is advisable to arrive at least 30-45 minutes before the advertised start time, especially for high-capacity events.
